Dum Dum!

No, not you. The candy! My daughter loves Dum Dums. She received many in her trick or treat basket over the weekend. Whenever we open one for her to eat, she always asks "What flavor?" I am always stumped when we get the one that says Mystery Flavor, so I usually just make something up. Mystery Flavor has always freaked me out a little bit. What is it? Some gross left over flavor? Will it taste like chicken fried steak or broccoli? Mystery just sounds like it equals gross. Well today I saw an article on AOL explaining the Mystery Flavor. Apparently the Dum Dum machines run continuously, so when they are changing from one flavor to another there is always a batch that is a mixture of two flavors. That's not so bad! So if you get a Mystery Flavor Dum Dum, it just means it is a mixture of two of their flavors. It won't taste like chicken fried steak, though a couple of my husband's friends would probably like that.

Etsy Feature: Angel Face Botanicals

I recently discovered this amazing bath and body shop on Etsy. I ordered a sampler pack to hand out as favors at a brunch and they were a hit. Angel Face Botanicals offers aromatherapy, bath items and organic facial care products. There is such a variety of products you won't know where to start. One of my favorites is the shower steamers. You put one in the corner of your shower and it releases essential oils into your shower steam. Another favorite is the Rock Star Detox Body Scrub which was listed as an Etsy Best. You can't go wrong when you order from Angel Face Botanicals. The products are wonderful and the customer service is excellent. If you want to pamper yourself or someone else, you must visit this shop.

Jenni's Noodle House

If you have never been to Jenni's Noodle House in Houston, you really should go, especially if you love noodles or Asian food. It's a great place for a quick bite. It's yummy yet inexpensive. I went there years ago when they first opened but had not been back since. They have a location on Shepherd and W. Alabama and one in the Galleria area. The noodle dishes are so good and they also have several vegatarian options. If you like spicey be careful though. They have a level system of 1 - 3. I LOVE spicey food. I put jalapenos on everything and always order my food spicey. We ordered to go and the man suggested I get the level 1 my first time. I decided on the level 2, medium right? Wrong!?!? I felt like that guy on the show Man vs Food. I was gulping water and milk after every bite. I don't even drink milk but my daughter was sitting next to me so I took hers because I always see them do that on TV. I thought I would surely die. It was so hot that I could barely enjoy it, so I suggest the Level 1 your first time. Don't try to be cool and go with the 2 or 3. I'm pretty sure 3 would put you in the hospital. A Bedroom Makeover

I want to redo my bedroom with this bedding...I love the mirrors too. Now I just have to convince my husband these are manly flowers. It's from Crate and Barrel. Love the colors! I think its time for new bedding, especially since our current bedding was chosen around the color of our pets and how much damage they may do to it.
